Location System
Why using gps or waiting for galileo? http://www.placelab.org/ offers positioning which works worldwide, both indoors and out with radio beacons that already exist in large numbers around us in the environment.

I doubt that indoor navigation can be done with the help of WiFI Access Points or GSM cell phone towers. GSM might provide a certain location accuracy, WiFi (or WiMax
) could be even better. But never good enough to distinguish between floors, or even rooms in a building. Bluetooth could be a solution. Quite easy: Every user of a bluetooth headset, mouse or keyboard just need to register the exact geographic location of the device.
Nice approach, but I think the idea to use the televsion signals stands a better chance
